The Magazine - Bouddhisme Aujourd'hui

Is published once a year by French-speaking Diamond Way Buddhist centers founded by Lama Ole Nydahl. Its goal is to provide Buddhist teachings to Westerners who want to work with their mind in order to discover its true nature. In this magazine, you'll find articles and interviews with Diamond Way Buddhist teachers, iconographical pictures and photos as well as information about Buddhist events in the French speaking countries and around the world. The texts presented in the magazine are timeless, therefore every issue is unique and you can consult it whenever needed. Our review not only aims at giving information but also at helping you apply the Diamond Way view in your daily life.

Bouddhisme Aujourd'hui

Number 6 - Women and Buddhism     (6.00 EUR)

The main topic of this issue is the wisdom, the gentleness and the inner strength of women as well as love and relationships. Indeed, the higher the level of the Buddha's teachings, the greater the function of women. And the Diamond Way corresponds to the third cycle of the Buddha's teachings. Its methods help us work directly with the nature of mind.

Therefore, at this level, the topic of this issue is a fundamental aspect of our dharma practice. Moreover, in 2009, the new book of Lama Ole, "Buddha and Love", has been published in several languages. This is another reason which inspired our choice of the topic for this issue. Please enjoy the deep teachings of our lamas and friends on the way.

Bouddhisme Aujourd'hui

Number 7 – The Karma Kagyu Lineage     (6.00 EUR)

Bouddhisme aujourd'hui n° 7 presents the Karma Kagyu Lineage. The teacher-student relationship is at the heart of Diamond Way Buddhist methods. It was therefore the main topic of our n° 4 and n° 5.

This time, the great masters of the Karma Kagyu Lineage – Naropa, Marpa, the Karmapas – are introduced in order to inspire us in our practice. They are living examples – made of flesh and blood – of our path to Enlightenment.
